General Cemetery: history, art, and collective memory

The General Cemetery of Guayaquil is much more than a place of eternal rest: it is a space full of history, culture, and art. Composed of majestic monuments, mausoleums, niches, and vaults, this cemetery was declared a Cultural Heritage of Ecuador in 2003, thanks to its invaluable architectural and symbolic legacy.

Metropolitan Pantheon: innovation and service with a human approach

The Metropolitan Pantheon represents a modern and functional alternative, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and attention focused on the well-being of families. In 2024, both cemeteries have stood out for their innovation in infrastructure, the consolidation of burial pre-planning, and the strengthening of customer service.

One of the pillars of this sector is PREVIEX, our burial pre-planning program, which allows families to access a complete funeral service through a minimum monthly contribution, promoting a culture of pre-planning with responsibility and peace of mind for the future.

The income generated by the Heritage Cemetery and Metropolitan Pantheon is reinvested in the social work that the Board of Charity carries out with people in vulnerable conditions in Ecuador.
