Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil incorporated new Members to the Institution

Dr. Luis Cabezas, Eng. Roberto Tugendhat and Bachelor Xavier Marcos are the three new members incorporated to contribute their experience and service vocation to the Institution. They were chosen during the General Board meeting held on June 8.

Cabezas has an extensive trajectory in the legal area. He has been secretary and legal Counsel for several entities in the public and private sector, such as the Catholic University, the Guayaquil Municipality, The Chamber of Commerce, Governor´s office and the Central Bank. Furthermore, he was legal adviser to the Stock Exchange and to the Fishing Resources Undersecretariat, a member of the banking Board as well as the El Telegrafo Editorial council among other positions.

Roberto Tugendhat has extensive experience in the accounting and financial area. He was a teacher and Director in the Auditing specialty of the Economic, Administrative Sciences and Auditing Faculty at the Santiago de Guayaquil Catholic University.

He performed for 30 years as a partner responsible for the Price Waterhouse Coopers´ office in Ecuador as well as audited financial statements for entities in the financial sector, Industrial, Commercial, and Services Concerns as well.

Marcos Stagg has performed various administrative activities in the private sector as well. He was President of the Guayaquil Investment Co., Commissioner for the Ladies´ Sociedad Beneficencia and is, at moment, General Manager of the San Carlos sugar/mill as well as Director of Papeleria (paper) Nacional, and President of Industrias y Predios SOCRAM S.A.
