Family damaged by fire received help from the Junta

FamilyLast April 5th through Eng. Romero, Donations Inspector for la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, the family who lost their home located in the Pancho Jacome Cooperative, north of Guayaquil due to a fire, received help.

 

“Thanks for the help given to us by La Junta de Beneficencia which allows us to push ahead and recover what we lost in the fire: I have no words to express what I feel, just gratitude towards this Institution which is giving us a hand just when we need it the most” claimed an emotional Marcos Carrera, still with his arms wrapped in bandages and next to his wife Benita as they both contemplated beds, T.V. set, refrigerator and medication received.

OTHER AID

Mary Olvera, another beneficiary of the help awarded by la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, received a PET car since both of her legs were amputated two years ago due to diabetes. “I feel happy to move around with this little car. It reminds me of when I used to ride around in a bicycle. I've come back to my adolescence “commented Mary amidst the laughter. She found out about the donations through the means of communication.

Meanwhile, Jairo Herrera El Pangui Canton Mayor in the Province of Chimborazo, expressed gratitude because this Wheelchair, crutches, beds and medication donation will benefit an average of 80 persons attended through the Municipal Foundation.
