The 30 beneficiaries are people of scarce means, disabled and coming from different areas in Guayaquil and the Guayas Province.

Beneficiaries will improve their quality of life thanks to the wheelchair donation extended by la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil together with the Free Wheelchair Mission Nothamenrican Organization.

One of the beneficiaries was Segundo Ruiz who arrived from the Duran canton to receive his chair which will allow mobility since three years ago he lost his quality chair and will help my family to move me from one place to another”, he commented.

Fifty seven year-old Angela's story is different. In spite of having her legs, she has walking limitations due to rheumatoid arthritis, an illness she has been suffering from for the last 30 years. ”The few steps I take are with the help of a walking cane. I am grateful to la Junta de Beneficencia because it helps those of us who need a wheelchair to reach our medical appointments and, whenever possible, an outing with the family”, a moved Angela pointed out.
