As part of a collective and well coordinated work effort, la Junta de Beneficencia received a visit from Enrique Falabella, Robert B. Smith, Moroni Torres and Sharon Eubank, all representatives of the Northeast South American area; and the welfare director on a world scale of the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, respectively.

Thirty persons from the Guayas Province improve their quality of life

The 30 beneficiaries are people of scarce means, disabled and coming from different areas in Guayaquil and the Guayas Province.

Beneficiaries will improve their quality of life thanks to the wheelchair donation extended by la Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil together with the Free Wheelchair Mission Nothamenrican Organization.

Medicine was donated to persons with muscular weakness

BeneficiariesOver 6 thousand 60 mg. pyridostigmine bromide pills, known as mestinon were delivered this past Sunday, December 10th, to 90 patients suffering from myasthenia gravis or “grave muscular weakness”. The donated medication is essential to control the illness` symptoms which elicit a serious deterioration in the osteo muscular system, oftentimes disabling whomever is suffering its effects.
