Next Saturday, October 25, the General Cemetery of the Board of Charity (JBG) will be transformed into a space where music, cinema and memory meet. Under the direction of maestro Patricio Jaramillo, citizens will be able to enjoy “Sounds from Beyond”, a free symphonic concert that promises a unique and vibrant afternoon and evening full of emotion.
The repertoire will include emblematic film themes such as Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family and Star Wars, performed live by musicians and guest ensembles, in a symphonic concert that combines local talent and a unique staging. Meanwhile, images from the films will be projected, creating an immersive audiovisual experience that pays tribute to the great classics of the seventh art.
Beyond its artistic proposal, the event seeks to redefine the vision of cemeteries: from being spaces associated only with mourning, to becoming places open to art, culture and life.
For this presentation, Gate 3 of the General Cemetery will be dressed in gala with a red carpet, an old film projectionist that will welcome the public in an unprecedented night, where the magic of classic cinema and the majesty of symphonic music will come together to offer an unforgettable experience.
“Sounds from Beyond” is conceived as a multi-generational event, designed for all ages: families, young people, film and music lovers, or those who simply want to experience a different night, full of art, emotion and memory.
