• This year, the JBG will double its enrollment and reach 5,000 students thanks to its innovative educational model and national expansion.
• This expansion is possible thanks to the support of the Board of Charity, which reaffirms its commitment to a comprehensive and quality education for more young people throughout the country.
With firm steps towards educational excellence, the Board of Charity of Guayaquil (JBG) is expanding its Network of Schools for the 2025–2026 school year with the incorporation of five new institutions, reaching a total of eight educational centers nationwide. This expansion is part of its vision for the future, with the clear goal of establishing 16 vocational training schools by 2028.
New educational institutions:
- Mercedes Calderón Educational Unit (Guayaquil)
- Freire Stabile Educational Unit (Playas)
- Narcisa de Jesús Educational Unit (Nobol)
- Nuestra Señora de la Sabiduría Private School (Lomas de Sargentillo)
- Promesas Lucianas Private School (Santa Lucía)
An educational model based on three key pillars:
High learning achievements
, with special attention to mastering English certified by Cambridge and daily reading as a fundamental practice.
Human formation and tutorial support
, which promotes social leadership and strengthens employability skills.
Quality technical education
, with the innovative
Dual Baccalaureate with German Certification
, which combines theory in the classroom with practice in training companies, and offers a high probability of job placement upon completion of studies.
An example of the achievements is the
first graduating class of dual baccalaureates
, graduated in March 2025: 62 young people from the José Domingo de Santistevan and Santa Luisa de Marillac Educational Units, specialized in Computer Science and Marketing and Sales. Of these, 17 have already received job offers that are in process.
“Educational Seals” that make the difference:
Extended school day
(from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.), without extracurricular homework, to make the most of learning time.
Teachers in continuous training
, guaranteeing permanent quality teaching.
State-of-the-art pedagogical infrastructure
, with modern spaces, well-equipped laboratories and updated digital platforms.
Culture of constant evaluation
, which allows identifying opportunities for improvement and raising educational results.
Thanks to its educational vision and its arrival in new locations such as
Playas, Nobol, Santa Lucía and Lomas de Sargentillo
, the JBG responds to the desire of thousands of families who seek a high-level education for their children.
