The educational transformation promoted by the Junta de Beneficencia continues to expand its reach in the country. This 2026, the institution marks a new milestone by arriving in the Ecuadorian Austro through a strategic alliance with the Company of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, which will allow the incorporation of the renowned Daniel Hermida Educational Unit of Cuenca into its Educational Network.
This agreement represents the first of several strategic alliances with the Daniel Hermida Educational Unit, one of the most emblematic in the capital of Azuaya, with more than seven decades of experience training generations of students and contributing to the development of Cuenca families.
With this, the Junta de Beneficencia strengthens the presence of the educational network in the city of Cuenca and carries out its innovative educational model that already benefits more than 10,000 students in thirteen cantons and two parishes in Ecuador.
The training proposal is based on three fundamental pillars: academic excellence, human formation and professional training, complemented by comprehensive accompaniment that promotes Christian values and virtues for the development of sustainable and purposeful life projects.
The expansion to Azuay consolidates the accelerated growth of the educational network of the Junta de Beneficencia, which in just three years went from managing two centennial schools to leading more than twenty educational units in provinces such as Guayas, Manabí and now Azuay.
For the institution, this agreement constitutes a transcendental step in its mission to strengthen Ecuadorian education, forming young people who are free to think, responsible to act and supportive to serve. This effort is possible thanks to the contribution of the National Lottery and the support of international strategic allies that contribute with specialized experience in technical education and dual training, enhancing development opportunities for thousands of children and young people in the country.
